Coming August 20 – 22!
Information on the Special Event station, N7E
Members of Lincoln County Amateur Radio Club will operate a special event station, N7E, on August 20 – 22. The special event station highlights a unique astronomical event: a total solar eclipse which makes first landfall at Newport, Oregon, and continues across the continental United States from coast to coast. Unprecedented crowds and traffic are expected to visit our area, making travel difficult, so we will be operating from dispersed locations on or around the following frequencies:
- 80 meters: 3.820
- 40 meters: 7.200
- 20 meters: 14.245
- 10 meters: 28.350
We are also participating in an Hamsci Solar Eclipse QSO Party (SEQP) propagation study, so we will request:
- An accurate signal report
- Your 6 digit Grid Square
QSL requests should be mailed (with SASE) to:
N7OY, PO Box 1375, Newport OR 97365
